At Jyovo Kadampa School, we are deeply rooted in the profound teachings of Lord Buddha, which guide us on the path of wisdom, compassion, and inner transformation. Our school is not merely an institution for academic learning, but a sanctuary where the seeds of spiritual growth are sown in the fertile minds of our students. Here, we nurture not only intellect but also the heart, aligning education with the timeless principles of the Dharma.
In this sacred endeavor, we draw inspiration from the wisdom of the Kadampa masters, whose teachings emphasize the union of study and practice. It is through this balance that true enlightenment is realized. Our mission is to instill these values in our students, guiding them to become not only scholars but also compassionate beings, capable of benefiting all sentient beings.
As we journey together on this path, may we always remember the words of the Buddha: “An undisciplined mind brings suffering, but a disciplined mind brings happiness.” With this in mind, we strive to create an environment where discipline, mindfulness, and loving-kindness flourish. Our students are encouraged to cultivate these qualities, both within themselves and in their interactions with others.
May the light of wisdom shine brightly in all hearts, dispelling the darkness of ignorance. May our efforts here at Jyovo Kadampa School contribute to the flourishing of the Dharma, for the benefit of all sentient beings.
